Job Description

The Locust Valley Central School District is looking for a (2025-2026 School Year) Film & Media Support Teaching Assistant (HS) to join our team in providing a safe, nurturing and challenging classroom environment devoted to helping all students reach their full potential. 

REQUIREMENTS:	Must be certified as a NYS Teaching Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:	Board meetings & events live-streaming support when needed Assisting in the film & media classroom Camera inventory & asset management. Managing records, materials and equipment Daily equipment and computer setups which includes and is not limited to setting up and breaking down equipment Supervision of students when working around the building and during activities and projects Support with the island-wide film festival
SCHEDULE:	As needed throughout the academic school year
SALARY:	Hourly rate starting at $19.02.  Possibility of incremental increase based on experience and relevant education assignments.
