Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises students and maintains order in the lunchroom, hallways, or all-purpose room; performs related duties as required.

• Helps students find classroom locations, or seating in large settings/common areas.

• Oversees students in common areas, ensuring no accidents occur.

• Supervise students in the all-purpose room, maintaining order and reporting cases of misbehavior to the appropriate school authority.  

• May assist teachers in taking attendance.

Training and Education:

• Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.

Salary:

• Hourly rate: $18.49 (incremental increase depending on experience).

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students is preferred.

• Good leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to be firm yet courteous with the public.

• Ability to get along well with students, school staff/faculty. 

• Some knowledge of first aid methods.

• Observant of surroundings to help take action or proactive measures to assist students.

• Good physical condition.   Will be on your feet most of the time.
