Develop and design lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans (in support of students IEPs). Modify the curriculum to meet the cognitive and sensory needs of each student. ? Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify specific triggers and reinforcements for challenging behaviors as needed. ? Develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed and consult with staff on their implementation. ? Utilize specific Applied behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching modalities to build academic and life skills. ?
